Finance & Accounting Manager

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting processes. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee comprehensive financial management, drive accurate reporting, and support strategic decision-making within a growing and innovative organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis and forecasting skills, demonstrated ability in business scenario modeling, hands on experience in the month end close process, and proven ability in managing and developing team members. This role will work closely with leadership to provide insights that support strategic decision-making and continued growth. Duties Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation to maintain precise financial records. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Support external audits by providing detailed documentation and explanations of financial data. Lead financial report writing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support organizational planning efforts. Utilize QuickBooks accounting software along with Microsoft Excel to streamline financial operations and improve reporting efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision making. Lead efforts in financial analysis and account analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for process improvement. Requirements Proven experience in accounting management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP reporting standards. Excellent skills in financial report writing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable processes along with payroll administration. Exceptional attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

Pay:

$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
