Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a community-oriented environment? FORUM Credit Union is looking for a dynamic Home Equity Manager to play a key leadership role on our Mortgage Operations team. You'll lead the day-to-day operations of our Home Equity function - driving performance, improving processes, and developing a high-performing team. The Home Equity Manager is responsible for overseeing the processing and closing functions of home equity products, including training and developing staff, managing pipeline performance, and ensuring compliance with credit union and investor guidelines. This role also maintains an active pipeline while supporting strategic initiatives across the department. This position is onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Fishers, Indiana. Responsibilities What you'll do: Lead the Home Equity team to manage workflow, meet production goals, and ensure service excellence Analyze pipeline data to identify trends and drive operational improvements Oversee processing, ordering, and closing activities to ensure compliance with policies and investor guidelines Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and the member experience Perform processing, closing, and funding functions as needed to meet turnaround expectations Partner with the Vice President - Mortgage Operations to support vendor management Assist in hiring, training, and motivating team members to achieve goals Provide coaching, recognition, and communication to foster strong team performance and collaboration You may enjoy this job if: You take ownership and are motivated to drive results You value accuracy and thrive in a detail-oriented environment You anticipate member needs and prioritize exceptional service You make thoughtful, timely decisions based on urgency and risk You adapt easily to change and collaborate effectively with others Qualifications What we are looking for: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized business or trade school program Three to five years of similar or related mortgage and leadership experience Employee perks: Competitive Pay Student Loan Reimbursement Tuition Assistance Wellness Programs Community Involvement and Paid Volunteer Time Professional Development/Award Winning Training Program 401K with Match Comprehensive Benefits Package Generous Paid Time Off Please note: A criminal background screen will be conducted upon hire.
