Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting practices and principles, with a focus on corporate accounting and financial management. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while providing strategic insights to support organizational growth. Duties Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure accuracy and compliance. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions. Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to maintain financial integrity. Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting to senior management. Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and skill enhancement. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including Securities law and governmental accounting standards. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries as needed. Skills Extensive knowledge of corporate accounting practices, including double entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for efficient financial management. Strong understanding of financial concepts including cash flow analysis, tax experience, payroll processing, and auditing procedures. Excellent analytical skills for interpreting financial reports and conducting thorough financial analysis. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
