Job Description

Company Overview Welcome House of Northern Kentucky is dedicated to ending homelessness and promoting stability for each person we serve. Our mission drives us to provide comprehensive services that support individuals in achieving lasting independence and well-being. Job Summary Welcome House is actively seeking a Financial Administrator to support the day-to-day financial operations of our nonprofit organization. This role may be filled at the Financial Administrator I, II, III, or Senior level depending on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications. Responsibilities may include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll support, grant and fund tracking, financial reporting, audit support, and general finance administration. Duties Process and reconcile invoices, payments, deposits, credit card activity, journal entries, and other financial transactions while maintaining accurate financial records. Support payroll, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Track grant budgets, restricted funds, donor requirements, and program expenditures to maintain compliance with funding guidelines. Prepare and assist with financial reports, reimbursement requests, audit schedules, tax filings, and budget-to-actual reviews. Follow internal controls, maintain confidentiality, support audits and process improvements, and assist with additional finance and operational duties as needed. Skills Proficient in data entry, accounting software, and Microsoft Office, including Excel; working knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll support, and general accounting processes; demonstrates accuracy, confidentiality, organization, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and initiative. Nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, restricted funding, and grant/fund tracking Blackbaud FE/RE (accounting/fundraising software) experience preferred but not required. Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
