Auto Finance Manager - Experienced

Job Overview Hardin County Honda is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team. We are a family-owned dealership proudly serving Hardin County and surrounding areas since 1977. We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and motivated to help customers through the final steps of their vehicle purchase. The Finance Manager is responsible for presenting finance and warranty options, securing approvals, completing paperwork accurately, and helping create a smooth, positive buying experience for every customer. Responsibilities Work with customers to review financing, leasing, warranty, and protection options Submit credit applications and secure approvals through lender partners Present and explain finance products in a professional and compliant manner Complete all finance paperwork accurately and efficiently Ensure all deals are properly documented and funded in a timely manner Maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders, sales staff, and management Review deal structure, contracts, titling paperwork, and compliance requirements Ideal Candidate The right person for this role is confident, organized, trustworthy, and able to balance sales goals with a great customer experience. We are looking for someone who can explain options clearly, build customer confidence, and help deals move from approval to funding without unnecessary delays. Help customers understand their payment options and available protection plans Support the sales team in delivering a smooth customer experience Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times Follow dealership policies, lender guidelines, and all state/federal regulations! Qualifications Automotive finance experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment Knowledge of lender portals, contracts, warranties, and compliance is a plus Professional appearance and attitude Strong organizational skills Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed Valid driver's license required
