Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and streamline financial operations within our organization. This role requires an individual who excels in managing month-end closings, preparing general ledger entries, and ensuring accurate account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance and supporting audits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee the preparation and review of general ledger entries to maintain data integrity.
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Perform and supervise account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives and reporting.
• Analyze financial data and present insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and improve processes related to journal entries and overall accounting operations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, supporting growth and development.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in financial practices. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Expertise in preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective leadership and communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
