Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HYBRID Accounting Manager to oversee the integrity of accounting operations and financial reporting. This position plays a critical role in managing the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP, strengthening internal controls, and delivering accurate financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations Oversee daily general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions Month-End Close Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met Financial Reporting Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights Compliance & Controls Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting Fixed Assets & Leases Manage fixed asset accounting and lease tracking systems Audit Leadership Coordinate and lead external audit processes Prepare schedules and respond to auditor inquiries Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting tools Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with FP&A, operations, and other departments to support business initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation Advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
Salary:
$75,000-120,000k DOE Hybrid work flexibility may be accommodated Occasional local travel may be required Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
