Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Oversee general ledger and financial reporting: Reconcile General Ledger accounts, interpret data, review discrepancies, and guide team members in resolving issues to ensure accuracy and compliance Provide reporting oversight: Ensure accurate processing of financial reports, including month-end closing, monthly forecasts, and variance reports Control budgets and inventory: Track and manage inventories and operational expenses to maintain cost control Supervise payroll processing: Oversee timekeeping systems, weekly payroll submissions, gratuity calculations, and monthly payroll audits Handle financial transactions: Ensure proper processing of received checks, calculate daily deposit transmittals, and maintain financial records Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
