Job Description

Associate - Growth Equity A lower middle market investment firm is looking to add an Associate to its Boston-based team. The Role This is a generalist investing position within a lean team, offering exposure across the full deal lifecycle. The Associate will play a key role in sourcing opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio companies, working closely with senior investors. Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source and develop investment opportunities through outbound outreach and relationship building
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with founders, executives, and intermediaries
  • Support deal execution including financial analysis, modeling, and diligence
  • Conduct market research across relevant sectors
  • Assist with portfolio company initiatives and ongoing performance tracking
  • Contribute to pipeline discussions and investment decision-making Candidate Profile
  • 1-4 years of investment banking experience (strong deal exposure preferred)
  • Prior internship experience in finance
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
  • Demonstrated ability or interest in sourcing / relationship-driven investing
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • High ownership, curiosity, and strong communication skills Additional Context
