Coinvest Operations & Partnership Accounting Location:
Boston, MA Salary:
$125k - $145k (depending on experience) The Finance Manager will serve in a leadership capacity within the Coinvest Finance team, overseeing partnership accounting and operational processes for a variety of coinvest entities and investment vehicles. This individual will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, supporting tax and reporting functions, improving internal processes, and mentoring junior team members. This position offers broad exposure across multiple investment strategies in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee and review annual tax workpapers and partnership reporting in coordination with internal teams and external tax advisors Manage operational and administrative activities related to coinvest partnerships, including: Cash management Capital call and distribution processing Monthly reconciliations Custody procedures Compliance-related reporting Valuation support Tax withholding analysis Analyze and document partnership and portfolio activity, including acquisitions, exits, allocations, and investment structures Support investor onboarding, reporting, and ongoing communication within the coinvest program Coordinate with internal departments and third-party service providers including auditors, custodians, legal counsel, and banking partners Participate in strategic initiatives focused on operational efficiencies, process improvements, and team development Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a collaborative team environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA and/or Master's degree preferred 6-8 years of accounting or finance experience within financial services, private equity, investment management, or alternative investments Strong understanding of partnership accounting, investment operations, and coinvest structures Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision Prior experience managing or mentoring junior professionals preferred High level of professionalism and discretion handling confidential information Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills required
