In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Your expertise will drive financial integrity, support business development initiatives, and ensure robust risk management practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory standards, coupled with leadership skills that inspire teams and foster strategic growth. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and interpretation of comprehensive financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses. Handle corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and accrual accounting. Ensure compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and relevant regulatory requirements. Manage treasury functions including cash flow management, investment oversight, and risk analysis to optimize financial stability. Develop and implement strategic financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures aligned with organizational goals. Conduct risk assessments related to financial processes and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard assets. Supervise financial software systems for accurate bookkeeping, account analysis, and financial statement preparation while ensuring data integrity. Collaborate with leadership on business development opportunities by providing insightful financial analysis and supporting investment decisions. Oversee compliance management for governmental reporting standards and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines. Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting. Skills Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, and governmental accounting practices. Proven expertise in corporate finance, cost management, risk analysis, and fiscal management strategies. Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements across various jurisdictions. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software for balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and cash flow analysis. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex financial processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills for clear financial report writing and interpretation tailored to diverse audiences. Strategic thinker with experience in budgeting, forecasting, investment management, and revenue management—especially ASC 606 standards. Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable/receivable processes efficiently while maintaining compliance standards. Deep understanding of technical accounting principles including public accounting practices and general ledger accounting.
