Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations for a distribution organization. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can oversee close activities, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to reliable financial reporting. The role offers the opportunity to work across general ledger functions while partnering on key accounting deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
• Prepare and record journal entries that support routine transactions, adjustments, and period-end reporting.
• Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet and general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in producing financial statements and help maintain the accuracy of supporting schedules.
• Review accounting data for completeness and consistency to support internal reporting needs.
• Partner with team members on audit-related requests by organizing documentation and explaining account activity.
• Handle additional accounting assignments and operational support tasks as needed to meet departmental goals.
