Job Description

Job Description Flexjet is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in Quincy, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions. Coordinate annual audits and tax filings. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
