Responsibilities Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis. Manage budgeting processes, forecast financial performance, and conduct variance analysis to inform strategic planning. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and other governmental or non-profit regulations. Conduct risk analysis related to financial operations, implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues. Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial concepts such as profit & loss management, cost management, and fiscal planning to support organizational objectives. Skills Deep understanding of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, and technical accounting principles. Proven expertise in corporate finance, public accounting, governmental accounting, and non-profit accounting environments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports and data for strategic decision-making. Proficiency in financial software systems for bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Excellent leadership qualities with experience in team management and fostering a collaborative work environment. Skilled in risk analysis, compliance management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
