The Accounting Manager will serve as a senior leader and subject‑matter expert responsible for ensuring regulatory, financial, and ethical compliance across the firm's nonprofit client portfolio. This role partners closely with clients to oversee governance, bookkeeping, reporting, and risk management while providing strategic guidance on IRS regulations and advocacy rules.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain strong, trusted relationships with nonprofit clientsOversee day‑to‑day client workflows, deliverables, and service timelinesLead client onboarding processes, including compliance and filing requirementsProvide responsive, high‑quality service to meet client needs and deadlinesOversee and review client accounting functions, including balance sheet and P&L managementOversee payroll processes for clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulationsImplement and advise on internal controls, compliance policies, and best practicesMonitor federal, state, and local regulatory changes impacting nonprofit organizations
