We're hiring a Processing Manager to lead our mortgage processing team and oversee the end-to-end processing of residential mortgage loans across agency, government, and Non-Agency loan programs. This role is ideal for an experienced mortgage professional who combines strong leadership skills with deep processing expertise. You'll lead a team of Loan Processors while maintaining your own pipeline, ensuring loans are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with investor and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Loan Processors and Team Leads Manage daily workflow, pipeline distribution, and resource allocation to ensure service level expectations are met Maintain a personal pipeline of mortgage loans while modeling production, quality, and customer service standards Monitor compliance with TRID, ECOA, HMDA, and investor requirements Review income calculations, credit analysis, title documentation, and collateral documentation to support processing quality Partner with Underwriting, Closing, Secondary Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure files are complete, compliant, and saleable Support centralized disclosure activities, including preparation of accurate disclosures and re-disclosures Review and update processing procedures, training materials, and workflow documentation Collaborate with technology and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements Monitor performance metrics, dashboard reporting, and pipeline health to drive operational efficiency Manage vendor-related activities and partner with Accounting to resolve invoice issues Provide exceptional service to borrowers, loan officers, and internal stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of mortgage processing experience Strong experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-Agency loan products Demonstrated knowledge of TRID, ECOA, HMDA, and mortgage compliance requirements Prior experience with MSHDA, OHFA, RD, and FHLB loan programs preferred Proven leadership, coaching, and team development experience Strong ability to calculate income, assess credit risk, and analyze financial documentation Experience using AUS systems such as DU, LP, and GUS Proficiency with Encompass, Byte, or similar mortgage loan origination systems Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, compliance, and customer service standards Why Join Northpointe?
