Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic operations manager for general operational tasks of a public housing authority. A person in this position processes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits/human resources functions, payments to HCV landlords, software administration, assists with financial reporting and audits. Responsibilities Codes and processes payables, make deposits, maintain related registers and back up documentation Prepares and processes 1099 forms for all vendors annually Analyzes tenant account receivables, closes financial records for multiple programs monthly Reconcile petty cash, landlord payments for reporting to HUD, maintain as system of accounts, records, and reporting including files, logs and checks with reflect the financial state of Melvindale Housing Commission properties and programs. Processes payroll Assists fee accountant in closing financial records, preparation of year end financial statement and audit activity Processes monthly rental subsidy For a full job description, please contact ctelfer@melvindalehc.org Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment Strong attention to detail Ability create, monitor and manage budgets, perform bookkeeping duties and process payroll functions accurately. Pay:
$52,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
