This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies, and effective cross-functional collaboration to support operational and financial objectives. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Collaboration Mentor and develop a team of direct reports and serve as a leader on the regional general ledger team Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A/Field Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence Month-End Close & Reporting Lead the timely completion of close activities within assigned areas Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses Ensure compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements Identify and implement process improvements to streamline close and reporting, including automation opportunities Support integration of acquisitions into Lineage accounting processes Fixed Asset Accounting Oversee the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation Ensure accuracy and completeness of the fixed asset subledger and related general ledger accounts, including review of additions, retirements, and impairments Partner with operations, finance, and project teams to validate capital expenditures and proper accounting treatment Prepaid Expenses & Accruals Manage accounting for prepaid expenses, ensuring proper recognition and amortization in accordance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Establish and reinforce processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in prepaid tracking Transportation Business Unit Support Serve as the primary accounting liaison for the Transportation business; collaborate with the Transportation finance team to identify and implement process improvements Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for Transportation business Compliance & Controls Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to SOX requirements Review and monitor account reconciliations for areas of responsibility Support internal and external audits, including preparing documentation and responding to inquiries Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, and documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred) 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to general ledger and fixed assets accounting preferred Strong understanding of
U.S. GAAP
