Job Description
The opportunityA growing, technology-enabled legal services company is hiring a Treasury Manager to lead the financial operations behind its Qualified Settlement Funds and class action distribution work. The team manages hundreds of millions of dollars across a high volume of concurrent settlement projects.
You will lead an established team of four treasury professionals, report directly to the CFO, and work closely with the CEO. The seat carries real strategic weight but the right person is still hands-on. Meaningful technology and process investment is on the roadmap over the next two years, and you will help shape it.
What you will ownTreasury operations for a portfolio of QSF and settlement accounts: bank account setup, positive pay controls, cash monitoring, reconciliations, and disbursements across checks, ACH, and wires.
Multi-state tax compliance including 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-NEC, 1120-SF, and W-2 filings across all 50 states.
Class action distribution execution: allocation calculations, check registers, payment logs, and coordination with project management from approval through reconciliation.
Process and technology improvement.
Leadership of the existing treasury team.
What we are looking for10 or more years in treasury, public accounting, tax, fiduciary fund administration, or similar, with leadership or senior IC experience.
Bachelor's in finance, accounting, or related field.
Experience managing high transaction volume across multiple concurrent projects or accounts, ideally at the hundreds-of-millions scale.
Strong command of multi-state tax filings, banking controls (positive pay, ACH, wire workflows), and disbursement procedures.
Advanced Excel.
Strategic operator who still rolls up sleeves.

Background from bank trust, corporate trust, bankruptcy claims administration, structured settlements, or class action / settlement administration. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).BenefitsBase salary plus 5 to 10 percent annual bonus paid in December.401(k) with effective 4 percent employer match.
Medical, dental, and vision with up to $7,000 in company contributions toward premiums or HSA.$3,500 cash payment if health coverage is waived.
