Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead our financial analysis, strategic planning, and reporting functions. In this pivotal role, you will drive financial insights that inform business decisions, oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Your expertise will support the organization's growth by providing clear financial analysis, managing profit & loss statements, and enhancing financial management practices across departments. Duties Lead the development of comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans aligned with organizational goals. Conduct detailed financial analysis including profit & loss assessments, cost accounting, and account analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth. Prepare accurate and insightful financial reports, including financial statement interpretation, regulatory reporting, and management dashboards. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements. Collaborate with corporate accounting teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions, technical accounting issues, and adherence to regulatory standards. Support pricing strategies by analyzing sales data, investment returns, and market trends to optimize profitability. Drive forecasting accuracy through rigorous analysis of financial concepts such as variance analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity testing. Assist in internal control processes by implementing SOX compliance measures and maintaining robust internal audit procedures. Facilitate cross-functional communication by translating complex financial data into clear reports for executive leadership. Utilize advanced financial software tools to streamline reporting processes and enhance data-driven decision-making. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred. Extensive experience in corporate finance or public accounting with a focus on financial planning & analysis. Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, regulatory reporting standards, and technical accounting principles. Proven expertise in financial report writing, profit & loss management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data using advanced analytical techniques and tools. Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and internal control frameworks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for presenting insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Experience with financial software platforms such as SAP, Oracle Financials or similar systems is highly desirable.
