POSITION SUMMARY
Working under the supervision of the President, the Finance Manager coordinates the accounting operations of the Chamber and its affiliates based on a daily, monthly and annual basis, accurately recording the revenues, expenditures, assets and liabilities. The Finance Manager is responsible for accuracy and timeliness of accounting records and the appropriate design of internal controls. The Finance Manager is responsible managing cash flows and providing cash/fiancial projects.

Essential Functions:
Lead in timely processing all accounts receivable billings for the Chamber and its seven affiliates. Book and certify new members and charge off uncollectible accounts. Lead in timely payment of all accounts payable for the Chamber and its affiliates. Maintain and reconcile registrations for projects such as sponsorships, special events, programs, etc. Prepare financial/regulatory reports required by laws, regulations and board of directors. Prepare and work with external auditor for financial annual review/audits for all companies. Perform secondary backup for payroll processing and personnel record keeping. Perform financial administration of federal and state grants, ensuring compliance and reporting requirements are met. Maintain and reconcile land sale/purchase transactions and recordings. Attend Chamber, MOKAN, JIDA, JCIDA or other meetings for financials representation. Keep accounting areas organized following retention guidelines. Attend Chamber functions as needed; collect funds, greet guests, etc. Perform other duties as assigned by Vice President and President.
Coordinate/assist the following:
Assist in preparation of annual budget for the Chamber. Assist in preparation of cash management and financial management projections. Assist in Annual Membership Directory production. Assist in re-accreditation process every five (5) years. Assist in CC-Assist, Fortis, QuickBooks and network administration as directed. Assist in staff training of various software/programs. Assist in making collection calls for dues and non-dues revenue. Assist in obtaining quotes for purchases/services. Assist on phone duties or front desk duties as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
Preferred Accounting/Finance Degree or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:
Experience in managing multiple financial reports. Outside sales, project management and project budgeting experience.
Computer Skills:
Requires computer server and phone system administration skills. Ability/willingness to learn/use industry specific software. Computer proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Fortis file management software, QuickBooks and CC-Assist database.
Certifications & Licenses:
Valid driver's license

Must be analytical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with detail and follow through. Personable phone and people skills. Highly organized and detailed oriented. Ability to function within a team environment. Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment. Confidentiality is vital to all phases of this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Typical office environment with moderate noise level. Requires travel within the community, with the majority of travel within a 30 mile radius with employee providing personal transportation. Also requires occasional out of town and overnight travel, including flights.
