Job Description We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and driving operational excellence. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional accounting, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, project accounting, and general ledger functions. Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals through performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning. Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and approval of journal entries. Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements; collaborate with business unit leaders to address inquiries and provide insights. Review account reconciliations and support staff in resolving discrepancies. Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Support external audits, tax engagements, and system implementations as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and accounting policies. Partner with Finance Business Partners to analyze budget and forecast variances. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (public accounting or private industry) Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
Demonstrated experience in team leadership and staff development Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%) Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Accounting CPA or CMA certification Experience with construction accounting, including job costing and WIP reporting Familiarity with accounting automation tools and process optimization Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus #LI-JV1 #
