Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting specialist who can oversee daily financial activities, maintain accurate records, and help ensure timely period-end reporting. The position will play a key part in managing ledger activity, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial entries that support reliable reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead monthly close activities by coordinating timelines, reviewing balances, and ensuring financial data is finalized accurately.
  • Maintain the general ledger by monitoring transactions, validating postings, and resolving discrepancies as they arise.
  • Prepare and review journal entries with clear supporting documentation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate variances to keep records complete and aligned.
  • Reconcile bank activity regularly, identify outstanding items, and follow through on corrective actions when needed.
  • Support reporting needs by compiling accounting data and providing analysis related to financial results.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve accounting workflows and maintain compliance with established procedures.
