Part-Time Accounting Manager

About Us Account 3019 is a boutique accounting and advisory firm serving real estate developers and construction companies at the controller level. The work is complex. The standard is high. The Role Own the technical accounting function across multiple active client engagements and keep work moving without being managed. That means building complex Excel models from the ground up — including percentage-of-completion schedules and labor cost allocation frameworks — coordinating deliverables across the team, and knowing what is due, what is behind, and what needs attention before anyone has to ask. Day to Day

• Managing timelines and deliverables across multiple concurrent engagements
• Building and maintaining POC revenue recognition schedules in Excel
• Designing labor cost allocation frameworks tied to project hours and cost data
• Month-end close — journal entries, reconciliations, workpapers
• Workflow and template builds inside Karbon
• Keeping multiple client entities clean and separate — accounts, history, structure
• Coordinating with the internal team to move work from assigned to complete What You Bring
• Construction or real estate accounting experience is required, degree is not
• Excel modeling ability — you build complex schedules from scratch
• Project management instinct — you track what is moving and what is not
• QuickBooks Online or Desktop experience
• Karbon or similar practice management experience is a plus
• Detail orientation that does not need managing Pay Tell us your hourly rate expectation when you apply.
