The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the accounting team, and implementing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports in compliance with GAAP and company policies. Present financial reports to senior management and provide insights and recommendations.Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Monitor collections and cash flow to optimize working capital. Ensure accurate coding of transactions.General Ledger and Month-End Close:
Manage the general ledger and month-end close process. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.Team Management:
Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and support. Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Drive initiatives to enhance financial reporting capabilities and analytical insights. Audit Support Prepare audit schedules and support documentation. Address auditor inquiries and ensure compliance with audit requirementsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred. 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with 2 years in a managerial capacity. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.Company Benefits:
