Job Description
We are partnering with a growing organization in the Mechanicsburg, PA area seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and payroll operations. This role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while managing a small accounting team and supporting leadership with actionable financial insights.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting operations including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closePrepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)Oversee full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsManage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activityDevelop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reportingSupervise and mentor accounting and payroll staffPartner cross-functionally to evaluate financial performance and identify risks/opportunitiesSupport internal and external audits and ensure regulatory complianceContinuously improve accounting processes, systems, and workflows
