Cash / Finance Manager

Our consumer goods, wholesale client near Hazlet, NJ is looking for a Cash/ Financial Manager to oversee A/P and support the Controller and Finance Director in all cash management , agreements, borrowing and payback matters related to Asset Base Lending. This is a full time onsite position with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.

Required:

Minimum 5+ years' experience in accounting/finance/cash management/full cycle accounting Experience with Asset Based Lending or the related critical bank compliance requirements, including reading and analyzing bank agreements/amendments. Experience in wholesale distribution, retail sales, and/or CPG industries Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite Understanding of Blue Cherry or other merchandising systems a plus Experience with Acumatica, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or related accounting/ERP programs Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance - CPA/MBA a plus Team leadership experience preferred. The main responsibilities include : Implementing and enabling proper financial and cash management processes and controls Ensuring compliance with Company and government policies Driving continuous process improvement with a focus on automation and use of AI Calculation of daily cash and borrowing availability, making borrowing and making pay-back decisions, Understanding and assuring compliance with credit agreements, as well as monitoring relevant government Participate in month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, overseeing and recording journal entries, and maintaining accurate supporting documentation. Oversee and prepare various balance sheet recs, maintaining relevant support in audit-ready fashion. Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on actions needed Target Salary- to 120k Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
