NYC / Tri-State Area (Extremely Flexible Hybrid - typically 1-2x per month in office) •Candidates must live in or around the tri-state area to be able to come into the office when needed•A private equity-backed company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller and CFO, with broad ownership across accounting operations and close management in a global environment. The business continues to scale globally and offers strong long-term growth potential. This hire will effectively serve as the most senior accounting professional in the U.S.. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in lean, fast-paced environments and enjoys taking ownership of accounting processes while helping build scalable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis Support consolidated financial reporting and IFRS-based accounting processes Manage core accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting Partner with revenue operations on deferred revenue and IFRS 15 accounting Support audits, compliance initiatives, and internal controls Drive process improvements, automation, and system optimization initiatives Partner cross-functionally with FP&A and business leadership on reporting and analysis Qualifications CPA preferred 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Deferred revenue accounting experience preferred NetSuite experience strongly preferred Experience in global or multi-entity environments a plus Strong understanding of accounting controls and reporting processes Highly organized with excellent communication skills and attention to detail 49143
