Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Professional looking to invest in high growth technology companies in both the public and private markets. Areas of focus will include (but not limited to) AI, Enterprise Software / Hardware, Semis, Fintech, Internet, Consumer, and Frontier Technologies. As an Investment Professional within J.P. Morgan's Alternatives Division, you will be a part of a lean team making thematic investments across AI, Enterprise Software / Hardware, Semis, Fintech, Internet, Consumer, and Frontier Technologies. Your responsibilities will include evaluation of new investment opportunities, detailed due diligence, preparation of internal investment materials, participation in weekly team meetings including investment committees, and active management of existing public and private portfolio. You will be a key member of the team and work directly with the fund's Portfolio Managers and Partners. Job Responsibilities Develop investment theses, themes, and market maps based on in-depth fundamental research Evaluate and analyze investment opportunities, with the purpose of forming independent investment decisions Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses Ongoing monitoring and support of public and private portfolio companies including (but not limited to): earnings calls, investor presentations, and public/private conferences Maintain team's CRM system and proprietary deal database Perform other responsibilities related to executing the investment mandate of the fund Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Undergraduate degree from an accredited University or College 2+ years of related work experience following completion of undergraduate program Strong analytic and communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills Excellent computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint Exhibit attention to detail with a demonstrable ability to review and articulate financial statements Team oriented mindset Exceptional work ethic Results oriented and self-motivated with an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment Demonstrable interest in technology and public/private market investing Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Preference for direct investment (public L/S, public LO, growth equity, private equity) or Investment Banking experience
