PURPOSE STATEMENT

Seven Hills Hospital is a growing, private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital that is dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 5-17) who are suffering from behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our new, state-of-the art medical facility in the Seven Hills area of Henderson, Nevada. Henderson is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and is located just 7 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and a couple of miles from beautiful Lake Mead. Seven Hills Hospital is part of the Acadia Healthcare, a provider of behavioral healthcare services throughout the US. ​ Plan, organize and supervise the facility's financial support function(s), to ensure industry standards, as well as company policy and procedures are followed. ​

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

​ Responsible for the complete flow of the business functions of the department(s) including proper recording of payments, changes and write-offs, proper methods of collections, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of fi nancial documents and reporting. ​ Provide staff management to includ e hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. ​ Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. ​ Resolve difficult issues and complaints originating from any internal or external source. ​ Responsible for implementing departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal statues, hospital and accrediting agency regulations. ​ Maintain knowledge of payer-specific rules and regulations regarding billing and payment for facility and professional services. ​ C heck accuracy of business transactions recorded by others. ​ Manage department financial operations . ​ Analyze financial records or reports to determine state of operations and to improve financial management . ​ Prepare financial documents, reports or budgets, as directed. ​ Monitor flow of cash or other resources. ​

​ Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. ​

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

​ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , A ccounting or related field required . ​ Four or more years ' related experience/knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid required . ​ ​
