512117 job summary: Randstad has partnered with a leading, rapidly expanding national organization to recruit an Accounting Supervisor/Manager for its corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, NV (100% on-site). Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this high-visibility role oversees multi-entity accounting functions and leads a two-person team within a shared services environment. Designed as a strategic leadership transition for an advanced senior Accounting professional, prior supervisory experience is not required . Following a recent major acquisition and amid plans for continued expansion, this position offers significant long-term career progression and direct executive mentorship.

Compensation:
$85,000 - $95,000 plus a bonus location: Las Vegas, Nevada job type: Permanent salary: $85,000 - 95,000 per year work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelor's degree experience: 4 Years responsibilities: Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure the timely, accurate delivery of consolidated financial statements for all entities. Direct, mentor, and develop a two-person accounting team, cultivating a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement within a shared services framework. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and oversee all corporate transactional workflows within the ERP system. Partner directly with the CFO to orchestrate annual budgets, corporate forecasts, and comprehensive variance analyses. Monitor daily cash flow, oversee meticulous bank reconciliations, and enforce strong internal financial controls to safeguard company assets. Assist with the onboarding and integration of financial systems, policies, and operational workflows for newly acquired entities. Oversee the complete financial life cycle, tracking, and reporting of federal, state, and private grants to ensure strict adherence to funding stipulations, institutional regulations, and GAAP standards. Prepare robust financial reporting packages and supporting documentation, corporate tax filings, and regulatory agency compliance.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior supervisory experience is not required, willing to train the right candidate who possesses strong leadership potential. Experience working in a shared services environment or managing multi-entity accounting is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for the CFO.
