Description Robert Half is working with a local company looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, and collaborating closely with senior leadership to support organizational goals. Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff, fostering growth and team collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and internal controls to maintain financial integrity.
- Support budgeting processes and contribute to audit preparations and financial reporting.
- Handle accruals and fixed asset management to ensure precise tracking and reporting.
- Review accounts payable (AP) processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations for financial strategies.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and streamline reporting processes.
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $110,000 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in account reconciliations, journal entries, and accrual accounting.
- Experience with fixed assets and accounts payable processes.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
