Job Description

Overview:
Nanticoke is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to manage daily accounting and financial operations. This role handles all accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, cash management, and month-end/year-end close processes. The position reports to the Manager of Finance & Supply Chain and serves as the lead financial administrator responsible for maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities Manage AP, AR, invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. Maintain general ledger and perform account reconciliations. Coordinate payroll with a third-party provider. Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Monitor cash flow and conduct bank reconciliations. Assist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements. Administer QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and improve financial processes and controls. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end close. Experience with AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger accounting. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. QuickBooks experience. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, CPG, cannabis, or other regulated industries is a plus. Ideal Candidate Highly organized, analytical, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset are essential.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
