Job Description
Accounting management role focused on month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting, revenue recognition, cost accounting, internal controls, and manufacturing finance support. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 6 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience required Cost accounting experience required ASC 606 revenue recognition experience required GAAP and financial accounting standards knowledge Microsoft Excel proficiency required General ledger experience Month-end close experience Financial statement preparation experience Balance sheet reconciliation experience Ability to understand manufacturing financial processes Experience supporting budgets, forecasts, metrics, and KPIs Experience with internal controls compliance Preferred Skills Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification Hyperion Enterprise experience Oracle experience SOX Section 404 internal control assessment experience Lease accounting experience Accounts Payable oversight experience Accounts Receivable oversight experience Payroll oversight experience Excess and obsolete inventory reserve review experience Experience supporting value analysis and value engineering reporting Experience supervising accounting personnel Job Responsibilities Manage month-end close process for financial statements and cash flow Prepare consolidated division reports for corporate reporting Provide financial support and analysis for business unit operations Ensure financial statements are accurate and free of errors Support weekly forecasts, budgets, metrics, KPIs, and cost management activities Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management Coordinate financial inputs related to forecasts, budgets, and manufacturing performance Establish and monitor budgetary control systems Review accounting workflows for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Implement new accounting standards as needed Manage training programs for departmental accounting personnel Oversee revenue recognition procedures Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions Manage ASC 606, general ledger, month-end close, lease accounting, and financial statement activities Work with production teams on KPI reporting Work with engineering teams on value analysis and value engineering reporting Review excess and obsolete inventory quarterly Communicate inventory reserve changes to senior management Prepare financial statements and summary reports Complete balance sheet flux analysis during close Escalate close-related issues to management Perform or supervise general ledger reconciliations Ensure compliance with internal controls Reconcile trial balances to corporate office financials Support business unit controller with additional accounting and finance tasks
Pay:
