Job Description

A stable and growing national manufacturer is seeking an Accounting Manager. This is a highly visible role that offers broad exposure across finance, operations, sales, and executive leadership while providing a clear path for professional growth. This position is ideal for an accounting or finance professional who enjoys partnering with operations, influencing business decisions through data, and serving as a trusted advisor to leadership. You'll play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, cost analysis, plant performance reporting, and overall financial management of the facility. What You'll Be Doing Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial reporting activities Analyze plant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs Develop financial models and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership Prepare and present financial statements, variance analyses, and key business reports Partner with operations and commercial teams to evaluate pricing strategies and profitability Provide costing and margin analysis to support business decisions Monitor plant KPIs and deliver insights that improve operational performance Support capital projects, capacity planning, asset utilization, and new product initiatives Assist with audits and special projects as needed Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership across multiple business functions What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost analysis Experience working directly with operational teams and business leaders Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience with ERP systems; ERP implementation experience is a plus Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment MBA preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
