Job Description

About the role Fohr is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to help leadership make smarter, faster decisions as we scale. You'll own our financial planning process, partner directly with senior leaders on the company's most important initiatives, and build the frameworks that turn strategy into measurable outcomes. This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complex problems and wants direct influence over how a business sets priorities, allocates resources, and measures success. You'll play a key role in shaping not just what we do, but how we decide what matters most. What you'll do Partner with leadership to evaluate strategic opportunities, pressure-test assumptions, and provide the financial insight needed to make high-quality decisions. Own and continuously improve Fohr's rolling forecast, partnering cross-functionally to understand business drivers and translate them into accurate forward-looking expectations. Serve as the finance partner for Fohr's highest-priority growth and operational initiatives, building the frameworks and metrics that help teams measure progress and stay accountable. Support the annual planning and budgeting process, including target-setting, scenario analysis, and cross-functional coordination. Deliver financial analyses that help answer critical business questions—from investment decisions to operational tradeoffs. Identify opportunities to improve our financial systems, planning processes, and reporting infrastructure as the business evolves. Build trusted relationships across the organization and act as a thought partner to leaders navigating growth, change, and uncertainty. What we're looking for 5-8 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2-3 years in a strategic finance or FP&A role, ideally within an agency, professional services business, or similarly dynamic environment. Exceptional financial modeling skills. You can build models from scratch, pressure-test assumptions, and clearly explain your thinking to non-finance stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and leverage modern planning tools. Experience with Lucanet xP&A (formerly Causal), Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, or similar FP&A platforms is a strong plus. Strong ownership and project management skills—you can create structure in ambiguous situations, align stakeholders around a plan, and drive execution without relying on formal authority. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and progress requires balancing speed with thoughtful decision-making. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders. Curious, pragmatic, and eager to improve how work gets done. Why this role This is an opportunity to sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and finance at Fohr. You'll work closely with senior leadership, influence how we prioritize investments and measure success, and help build the planning processes that guide the business. Over the next year, you'll help us strengthen our forecasting capabilities, improve visibility into company-wide strategic initiatives, and build scalable frameworks that support our next stage of growth. If you're someone who enjoys turning ambiguity into clarity and wants your work to directly shape company decisions, you'll have a meaningful seat at the table here.
