Job Description

About the job Position Overview We are partnering with a private credit secondaries firm in New York City that is looking to add a talented investment professional to its growing team. The firm invests across private credit secondaries, co‑investments, fund‑of‑funds strategies, and direct investments (both credit and equity), and currently manages approximately $2 billion in AUM. The team is seeking a Vice President to focus primarily on sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investment opportunities. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading transaction workstreams, performing rigorous fundamental analysis, overseeing due diligence processes, and presenting investment recommendations to senior leadership. This is a high-impact position within a lean, collaborative team, offering meaningful responsibility, frequent exposure to senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to directly influence the firm's capital deployment and portfolio construction. Key Responsibilities
    Investment Analysis & Underwriting:
Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and credit analysis for potential investments.
      Deal Execution:
Support transaction structuring, documentation, and coordination with legal and third-party advisors.
        Portfolio Management:
Monitor existing investments, track performance metrics, and identify risks and opportunities.
          Investment Committee Support:
Prepare and present investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
            Operational Support:
Assist with reporting, tracking deal flow, and maintaining internal systems and documentation. Qualifications
            • 6-10 years of experience in direct private credit, secondaries, co-investments, fund of funds, or investment banking
            • At least 1+ year(s) of being a VP at a Private Credit firm
            • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
            • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
            • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
