Financial Professional / Insurance Agent New York Life Insurance Company Syracuse, NY Job Overview New York Life is seeking motivated, goal-oriented individuals to join our team as Financial Professionals. In this role, you will help individuals, families, and business owners develop financial strategies through insurance and financial solutions tailored to their needs. This is an opportunity for entrepreneurial professionals who are interested in building their own business with the support, training, and resources of a Fortune 100 company. No prior financial services or insurance experience is required. Comprehensive training and professional development will be provided. Responsibilities Prospect and network to build relationships with potential clients and generate new business opportunities Develop and maintain relationships with clients through networking, referrals, and community involvement Conduct financial needs analyses and recommend appropriate insurance and financial products Educate clients on life insurance, retirement planning, asset protection, and long-term financial strategies Create customized solutions based on client goals and financial objectives Maintain regular communication and ongoing service with clients Participate in training, professional development, and team meetings Build and manage your own book of business Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Bachelor's degree preferred Must be eligible to obtain state insurance licensing Compensation & Benefits Compensation range: $90,000-$150,000 per year Performance-based compensation including commissions and bonuses Training allowance and comprehensive professional development Health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement and pension opportunities Ongoing mentorship and support
