Job DescriptionJob Description Full Service Real Estate and Property Management company seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team! Qualifications 5 + years Accounting experience Experience out of Real Estate or related industry Supervisory experience preferred Financial Reporting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proficiency in Yardi Voyager Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation Excellent communication skills Fully in office Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules Lead the month-end close process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy of reporting Oversee reconciliation of bank accounts, operating accounts, and escrow accounts Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, including rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and collections Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast and provide explanations to management Collaborate with property management team to ensure accurate coding of expenses and proper financial reporting Maintain and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Assist with preparation of budgets and reforecasts in coordination with property Edit in Word
