Manage full-cycle accounting:

GL, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close. Prepare monthly financial statements, internal controls, coordinate with external CPA firm for corporate tax returns, and monitor daily cash position. Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) with 5-10+ years of accounting experience. We offer health, dental, vision and simple IRA. Experience Expectations Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred) 5-15+ years of accounting experience (depending on company size) Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards Leadership and team management skills ERP system experience Advanced Excel and analytical ability Core Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting (Hands-On) Manage AP, AR, payroll, and GL Run the monthly close (often yourself) Prepare financial statements Financial Reporting & Analysis Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow Provide simple variance analysis Translate numbers into business insights Cash Flow Management (Critical) Monitor daily cash position Forecast short-term liquidity Manage payables timing and collections Coordinate with external CPA for: Tax filings Year-end review/audit Implement practical (not overly complex) controls Budgeting & Planning Work directly with leadership on: Annual budget Forecasts Scenario analysis Business Partner Role Advise owner/CEO on: Pricing decisions Cost control Growth investments Typical Skill Set Strong technical accounting + practical execution Ability to work independently Problem-solving mindset (figuring things out without big teams) Comfort with ambiguity and imperfect data Systems experience (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) What Your Day Looks Like Ability to work independently Problem-solving mindset (figuring things out without big teams) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and close process Maintain chart of accounts and accounting policies Design and enforce internal controls Coordinate audits (internal & external) Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory standards Lead budget preparation and financial planning Analyze variances and provide insights to leadership Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital Manage banking relationships
