Job Description

Position Overview:
The role is responsible for managing plant financial assets through the coordination and development of annual budgets and by analyzing performance against established financial targets. This position serves as the primary financial partner to plant leadership and supports overall plant performance across safety, quality, and reliability while maintaining a customer-first mindset. The individual will provide financial leadership within a high-performance manufacturing environment and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary financial leader and business partner to plant leadership Act as the main point of contact between the plant, corporate/shared services groups, and other stakeholders on all financial matters Review financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies Perform period, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entry review and approval Conduct financial analyses and prepare period recaps and reporting packages for senior leadership Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual reports for internal leadership and external agencies (federal, state, and local) Develop period profit estimates and annual departmental budgets; analyze business activity and variances Identify financial trends, discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls Compensation level aligned with plant complexity, including number of departments and customers supported Proven ability to build collaborative cross-functional relationships Strong ability to interpret complex written and verbal information Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills High attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy and precision
