Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports to support business decision-making.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and oversee the preparation and coordination of audits.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or Workday to streamline financial processes. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial audits.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or Workday.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively across teams.
- Certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
