We have an exciting opening for Accounting Manager in Elyria, OH (HVS). This position is responsible for the supervision, control and analysis of the division's accounting systems and procedures. Including, but not limited to, cost accounting and general ledger and their supporting systems.
Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:
_X_ Has Direct Reports __ Does Not Have Direct Reports Under the direction of the division controller, supervise accounting functions to assure that all inventory costs are properly stated, according to generally accepted accounting principles. Also, supervise activities to ensure that the corporate accounting policies and procedures are adhered to, according to generally accepted accounting principles.Your main responsibilities:
Ensure inventory is properly costed and analyzed Prepare monthly LIFO index Set annual standard costs and departmental budgets Maintain general ledger Maintain property systems records Provide account reconciliation and business analysis as required Prepare monthly reports and analysis for the division and corporate Ensure all cost and other accounting systems meet corporate guidelines Maintain highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity We are looking for talent with: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 7-10 years experience in Parker related discipline 5 years supervisory experience preferred Parker Hannifin Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
