Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their finance leadership team during an exciting period of growth. This is a newly created position resulting from the continued expansion of the CFO's responsibilities and offers a unique opportunity to become a key strategic partner within the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will play a critical role in leading day-to-day accounting operations, strengthening financial processes, improving reporting capabilities, and supporting the company's continued growth. This role is ideal for an ambitious accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, driving improvements, and working in a highly visible position with executive leadership.

What You'll Do as Accounting ManagerManage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingOversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparationAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiativesDevelop, improve, and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsPartner cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and external stakeholders to support business objectivesSupport external audits and coordinate requests from auditors and other third partiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficienciesMentor and develop accounting staff as the organization continues to growAssist the CFO with strategic projects, special analyses, and business initiativesFor immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054.
