In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of accounting, project financing, modeling, forecasting, financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance, ensuring the organization's financial health aligns with its strategic objectives. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger management, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret financial statements, and communicate insights to executive leadership for informed decision-making. Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, investment management, accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize liquidity. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IAS and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. Conduct project analysis and project budget management activities to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation strategies. Lead regulatory reporting efforts for governmental agencies and ensure adherence to all applicable legal requirements. Supervise financial software systems for bookkeeping, cost control, cost accounting, and financial data management. Collaborate with business development teams to support growth initiatives through strategic financial planning and project financial analysis. Oversee internal controls related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management to prevent fraud and ensure fiscal responsibility. Skills knowledge of accounting standards, GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and governmental accounting practices. Strong expertise in project finance, cost management, budget development, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in financial software applications for general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and reporting tools. Exceptional ability in risk analysis, risk management strategies, regulatory compliance management, and internal controls implementation. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing finance teams and cross-departmental collaboration. Excellent written communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and interpreting complex financial concepts clearly. Deep understanding of public accounting practices alongside non-profit accounting where applicable. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to financial planning and investment management to support organizational growth objectives.
