  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Automotive Salesperson to serve as a back-up Finance Manager within our dealership team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, drive high-end vehicle sales, and support the finance department in delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for automotive sales, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties Act as a primary sales representative for new and used vehicles, utilizing outbound sales techniques such as cold calling and B2B sales strategies to generate leads and expand the sales pipeline. Assist the Finance Manager by providing backup support in processing financing applications, explaining loan options, and ensuring compliance with dealership policies. Engage customers through retail sales interactions, upselling additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Manage inventory control and inventory management processes to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand. Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and maintain organized records of sales activities. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills during outbound calls, public speaking engagements, and in-person meetings to build rapport with clients. Support marketing efforts by promoting dealership specials, participating in promotional events, and maintaining a professional presence both online and offline. Qualifications Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments; dealership experience is highly preferred. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Knowledge of automotive products, inventory management, and retail math principles. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are considered a significant advantage for engaging diverse customer bases. Familiarity with CRM software, inventory control systems, and sales pipeline management tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to deliver compelling presentations or public speaking engagements. Experience in B2B sales, outbound sales strategies, cold calling, upselling techniques, and marketing initiatives is highly desirable.
