Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll coordination, and general ledger. Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and partner reporting. Manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital. Lead firm budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning. Oversee firm 401(k) and profit-sharing plans in coordination with third-party administrators and advisors. Manage firm non-personnel insurance programs, including professional liability (E&O), employment practices liability (EPLI), cyber liability, and other business insurance coverage. Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. In-depth understanding of law firm accounting and trust/IOLTA requirements. Advanced Excel skills and financial systems proficiency.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA and/or MBA preferred. 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience; law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred. Experience with trust accounting and legal billing systems is highly preferred.A bit about us:
