Job Description:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization. This position ensures the integrity of financial information through accurate reporting, strong internal controls, compliance with GAAP, and effective management of the accounting team.

Plymouth Meeting, PA Salary:
$100,000 - $110,000 Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulatory requirements. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis and recommendations to leadership. Prepare management reports and financial presentations for executive leadership. Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper documentation. Monitor cash flow and banking activities. Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities. Partner with department leaders to develop budgets and monitor performance. Provide financial modeling and strategic analysis to support business decisions. Monitor key financial metrics and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Establish performance expectations and foster a collaborative team environment. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Lead ERP implementations, system enhancements, and accounting automation initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA designation strongly preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience managing month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes. Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
