Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with strong month-end close and financial reporting experience to step into a visible leadership role supporting a national operation. This position will oversee core accounting functions, manage and mentor a small team, and partner cross-functionally to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses Oversee accounting areas including revenue recognition, lease accounting, payroll, and cash management Partner with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes Support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis activities Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Assist with external audits and coordinate with third-party tax providers Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Active CPA required 5+ years of accounting experience within public accounting, industry, or a combination of both Strong Excel skills
