Job Description:
Accounting Manager - Up to $125k + bonus Our client, a national organization, is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead key accounting and financial reporting activities across a multi-site operating environment. This position offers the opportunity to oversee critical accounting functions, manage a team, and partner with leadership in a fast-paced and evolving organization. •3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Responsibilities:
Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity Oversee accounting processes related to revenue, payroll, cash, and other operational areas Analyze financial trends, investigate variances, and provide insights to leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve discrepancies Support budgeting, reporting, and business planning initiatives Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to increase efficiency Maintain strong internal controls and support audit activities Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior management or team leadership experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes Public accounting background preferred Why this role?
